Once that's completed, your game is ready to add the BO V1.5 to it but first we need to create a folder for it. This not only updates the game, it also adds some files not included in the original update. The version number at the top should read 2.1.4.3. Once you've done this, run the update.exe again. It will overwrite the existing files which is what you want to do. Now, paste these 2 files back into the DFX2 game.

Stop the update by clicking on the "X" to close it. If the updater comes up with version 2.1.4.2 at the top, your game is not up to date. To do that, go into your DFX2 folder, find the 'update.exe' file and double click on it to run it. First, you have to have an up to date version of DFX2.

Here's the way I set up the Mod and how I've taught my squad members to set it up. The period between the 1 and 5 is left out purposely.Ĭopy the DFX2 game you just updated and paste it into the NovaLogic BO V15 folder you just created. You need to create a folder and name it NovaLogic BO V15. We feel that the balance of DFX2 has been restored with this mod. Also the sniper rifles have been fixed as you should not get out shot from long distances by other close quarter battle weapons. (does not work against sniper rifles!!!). We also have working Body Armor in the game as well that does work. You should notice a little less lag between shooting as the speeds of the bullets are alot faster. Now once this is all done you should have a icon on desk top / RIGHT click it / run as ADMINISTRATOR. a window will open you should have only one DFX2 folder not (2) Go to start / at bottom type in Delta Force Xtreme 2.

if not you install new install and you still have the same problem what ever it is or was.
most of the time uninstalling is not enough you MUST search out files and folder and remove them as well. Īlso if you have remove or deleted you previously installed DFX2 make sure you have removed all folder and files. Many claim this is wrong but it the only way i can update. run it from this folder not from desk top. once you have done this place you new update into this folder in this folder. not sure what you have in your folder but I'm sure mine is different but you should have a folder called Delta Force Xtreme 2 open this folder, scroll down to update, is should be green, look to the right it should say application file this file you want to delete from this folder. Ok here this is what i would do, I'm sure many here would not agree with me !!įirst go to Computer / local Disk / Program Files(x86) / scroll down to bottom of page to Novalogic Folder / open it.
